(AFP) Alpha Fetoprotein Rapid Test Strip
AFP Test is designed for the rapid qualitative determinationof AFP in serum and plasma specimen to aid in the diagnosis of Hepatocellular Carcinoma or fetal openneural tube defects.

The AFP test is done to:
1. Find certain cancers, especially cancer of the testicles, ovaries, or liver. But up to half of the people with liver cancer do not have high AFP levels.
2. Check how well treatment for cancer is working.
3. Check for liver cancer (called hepatoma) in people who have cirrhosis or chronic hepatitis B.
